In today's video Dr. Anbu Arumugam will discuss the topics under the section Social Justice in the GS Mains Paper 2. The Social Justice section covers the welfare schemes and measures of the Government to address the issues faced by various vulnerable groups.

Vulnerable groups covered are children, women, senior citizens, SC/ST, OBC, Minorities etc. Today's discussion on Social Justice - Part 1 will focus on the vulnerability of Children and Senior CItizens. The issues regarding their development in India, their current state and various dimensions of their vulnerability and the government measures to address the issues. The constitutional and other provisions related to these areas will also be discussed during the lecture.
