Want to know how a book is made? Well look no further! In this self-publishing vlog, I start off by receiving the wet proofs from the printing house. I check these over and confirm that the colours are exactly as I want them to be. From there, it's time to start prepping items for the PR boxes, such as the press release leaflets and some complimentary promotional items to really add the 'wow factor' to the package. I also get the keys to a new unit that will enable me to sign and ship the hundreds of books pre-ordered via my website (with some help). I listen back to the audiobook narrated by Matthew Biddulph and Matt was also kind enough to film a special behind-the-scenes clip for this vlog showing you how an audiobook is made!

Then the real fun begins! My friend Gary C and I head down to Kent and CPI books to see my book being printed! CPI were kind enough to show us the whole printing process from start to finish. Including a look at the Demy press which uses metal plates, the book blocking, cover binding and jacket wrapping processes. Over two days, we get to see every stage of production and we can't thank the team at CPI enough for such an amazing experience! Back home, I launch a special competition to give someone watching the chance to win a piece of this series. I then sum up the series with an overview of the experience moving forward, both in receiving delivery of the books, sending PR boxes and starting the signing process.
