Ingredients for Green Moong Ladoo
Green Grams - हरी मूंग या हरी मूंग दाल - 1 Cup (200 grams)
Jaggery - गुड़ - 160 gms
Desi Ghee - घी - 4-5 tbsp
Almond Flakes - बादाम कतरन - 1/4 Cup
Cashew - काजू - 8-10, chopped
Cardamom - इलाइची - 4, coarsely ground
How to prepare green moong dal ladoo?

1. Roast 1 cup of green moong dal over medium heat till the color changes lightly.
2. Once ready, take them out on a plate and allow them to cool.
3. Dash 1 cup of jaggery into pieces and melt it with 2 tbsp water.
4. Grind the lentils into a fine flour once cool down.
5. Add 2 tbsp of ghee to a pan and roast over low-medium heat.
6. Add 2 more tbsp of ghee and roast the mixture for 2 more minutes.
7. Add 8-10 chopped cashews, 1/4 cup of almond flakes, and roast the mixture a little more.
8. After 2 mins of roasting, add 4 crushed cardamoms and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
9. Mix the moong dal mixture and jaggery syrup.
10. Wash your hands and apply a little ghee before preparing laddoos.
11. Take out the mixture and bind it like ladoo.
12. Prepare all the laddoos and green moong ladoos are ready.
