The Hundred is seeing a takeover from IPL. out of the eight teams in The Hundred, 3 have already been brought by IPL franchisees, with Southern Brave also set to be owned by the GMR group of Delhi Capitals.

The RPSG group has picked up a majority stake in the Manchester Originals team. As per reports, the RPSG group is set to get a 70% stake. Apart from them, Mumbai Indians have picked up a 49% stake in the Oval Invincibles. Recently, the Sun Group of Sunrisers Hyderabad has picked up a 100% stake in the Northern Superchargers. Apart from these 3, The GMR group, which owns Hampshire County, is set to pick up a majority stake in the Southern Brave team.
