It's no secret that we are paying higher than ever for fuel while the overall quality continues to suffer. The ethanol in today's fuel breaks down the fuel at a rapid rate causing a lower octane. When you have a built motor designed for 93 octane and the fuel has time to break down, this leaves room for error and possible motor damage. I have found that 12.5:1 is the limit for pump fuel and is possible for operation under racing conditions or trail riding, however, if the fuel has time to break down, pre-detonation will occur. Megatron is now a 734 Big Bore (ATHENA) w/ 12.5:1 piston on 93 octane! Also, sporting a PC5, Monster Full System Exhaust, and FCI intake!

The peak horsepower was only a 12 HP gain but the HP at overrev was over a 25+ HP gain!! That's crazy!!!! This is why the climb to 80 MPH was much quicker than before plus the overall speed increased by 6 MPH.

The quad has factory gearing with the exception of the smaller 19 inch tires.
