Unlock your BDC reticle! How to calibrate a bdc reticle to your setup

Описание к видео Unlock your BDC reticle! How to calibrate a bdc reticle to your setup

Ballistic drop compensator (bdc) reticles are found in many of the most popular "fighting optics" on the market today. They are great solution for the person looking to rapidly engage larger targets out to the distances the reticle is calibrated for..... assuming you have the rifle setup to match the calibration of the BDC reticle. But what if you want to use a bdc reticle with a different caliber, barrel length or bullet? Traditional wisdom would tell you that a rifle/ ammo setup that doesn't match the BDC calibration perfectly would be ineffective and should be avoided.... Well I would disagree and I plan to show you why in this video. If you are looking to use a BDC reticle with a rifle setup slightly different than intended stick around as I plan to show you have to custom calibrate your BDC to your setup so you can effectively use the BDC to shoot out to distance. If you have a basic understanding of bullet flight characteristics and a ballistic calculator you can follow along and get your rifle/ ammo/ optic package dialed in!
