South Llano River State Park

Описание к видео South Llano River State Park

This trip to South Llano State Park was originally planned as a one night backpack trip; however, I (Barbara) found out this past week that I have Achilles Tendinitis in my left ankle. Because I am in a walking boot for the next 4 weeks at least, the doctor recommended not hiking during that time. As a result we changed our plans to a walk-in campsite for 2 nights. Craig hiked in the back country and my plans were to mess around the day area while he was hiking. The day area does not open until 10 am and by that time, Craig had texted me and we decided to bad weather headed our way, we would pack up and head home. I packed and began loading while Craig finished his hike and then made a quick stop in the day area. This is a really nice park and has approximately 18 miles of trails. The campsites are very close together for electric drive up sites as well as for walk-in sites. The primitive sites were the most spacious and appear to offer a great deal of solitude. We hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching!!
