Gay Dads, Life With Baby Nox

We are Bram and Simon. It's the second week of our fatherhood journey, and we're fully immersed in the world of sleepless nights, countless diaper changes, and figuring out our new life with our precious baby girl, Nox. Everything is new, but we're cherishing every moment and are thrilled that Nox is doing so well.

This week, we moved houses from our friends' house back to Simon's parents' home, where we'll be staying for a few weeks before heading back to our French farmhouse. Life has changed so much with Nox, but soon, we’ll return to France to resume our renovation project. Our next big task will be converting the sheds into cozy apartments. Nox will be a part of all of this.

Back at Simon’s parents’ place, we found some time during Nox's naps to bake an apple pie using apples from the garden—bringing a bit of sweetness to our hectic days. We also dealt with ongoing legal issues, preparing for an upcoming court hearing, which adds another layer to our busy lives.

The highlight of our week was taking Nox on her very first walk in the forest, accompanied by our dogs. Using a baby sling, we explored the woods together, making unforgettable memories as a family of three. We’re excited about the future and all the new experiences to come as we continue this incredible journey.
