The latest chapter of the Darius saga, Dariusburst got so many revisions that at this point it could be another series.
Unfortunately the games lack awe -inspiring graphics like Gaiden or G-Darius on release, but what they lack on polygons count is compensated by the number of projectiles, lasers, ships, debris and explosions on screen.
But what it made the Dariusburst games quite appealing is the sheer quantity of content.
There are different ships suitable for different kind of players, an arcade mode with different routes, a colossal number of missions consisting of remixed stages and bosses, and this is ignoring the content of the Chronicle Saviours version, which sports another mode with a 16:9 screen ratio and another (colossal) set of new missions with even some new bosses.
The high difficulty ensures there will be always a new challenge: some missions are honestly much harder compared to this arcade 1cc!
