On January the 3rd of 2024 I went to Mt Airy and Chased Yadkin Valley Railroad YV2 as it made its way across Mt Airy carrying 12 cars. The train consisted of Yadkin Valley Railroad 9628 (GP40-2Lw), 3819 (GP38-2), 2392 (GP40-2Lw) pulling 9 Gondolas and 3 covered hoppers. This is also a very rare catch as 3 Locomotives made their way across US 601 and US 52 with the largest train in about a decade.

On January the 4th I made my way to Rockford and caught Yadkin Valley Railroad YV1 as it made its way through Rockford NC with 3 Locomotives and 49 Mixed Freight Cars. 9628 also makes an appearance in this Video. {I apologize for the Video shakiness, I didn't have time to set up my Tripod}
