The upcoming second phase of voting in Jharkhand, scheduled for November 20, has seen the issue of infiltration become a major point of contention. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Modi have criticised the Congress party's proposal to provide LPG cylinders to infiltrators. Congress leader Gulam Ahmed Mir has countered this, promising to provide gas cylinders at Rs 450 to all, including infiltrators. This has led to accusations from the BJP of the Congress supporting infiltrators and enabling them to obtain voter and ration cards.
