Over the Targaryen era of Westeros they had close ties with House Targaryen with a total of seven Darklyn men joining the Kingsguard and Jonquil Drake becoming the sworn shield of Queen Alysanne Targaryen. But after the events of the defiance of duskendale during the reign of Aerys ii The Mad king would bring the line of house darklyn to an end.
