When's the last time you showed your nails some actual tendering love & care? Because if you're like me, you moisturise your face like it's a full-time job, but your nails? Yeah, they're over here begging for help. So let's fix that-shall we. Hello Beauties! Welcome to Beauty with Brain. As always let's start with 'The habits that are damaging your nails' and the ones that need to be avoided. Biting and picking your nails, I know you're not gonna listen if I just say 'to stop biting and picking your nails', so instead I found a few solutions for it.

First identify your trigger; do you bite your nails when you're stressed, bored, or anxious? Or is it a certain time a day, like while watching TV or during the study section? If the answer is yes, then the best and simple thing to do is grab something like a hair tie on your wrist, a paper clip, stress ball, anything to keep your hands busy during that time. And you can also write down everything on a piece of paper that's been triggering you in any way possible. This will not only help with biting habits but also clear your mind. Some other methods are using a thick hand cream followed by cuticle oil, they taste awful. This will really help with habit as well as keep your hands soft while helping nails. Do your nails; if you're a Muslim then do this when you are on your periods. Try different nail art by yourself, do the hard work. And let me tell you girl no one wants to bite their hardwork. Self awareness: whenever you find yourself miss-bite or pick, stop. Fight the urge without thinking too much into it. This will build long-term control.
