The roster of villains in the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise is definitely an interesting one, with antagonists who can be described as anything from captivating, to charismatic, to egomaniacal, or just flat-out disturbing, and anything and everything in between. But I think one of my favorites absolutely has to be the Big Bad of Season 3 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX, the one and only Yubel.

Voiced in English by Cassandra Lee Morris, and by a combination of Hisao Egawa and Hiromi Tsuru in Japanese, Yubel is a Duel Spirit with a wide array of powers, a penchant for possession, a gender that can be best described as (waves arms vaguely in every direction), and above all else, an obsession with the one and only Jaden Yuki. But just what IS with Yubel's fixation on everyone's favorite Slifer Slacker? Why do they insist on dragging Jaden and everyone he cares about through other dimensions and putting them through twisted rituals? And just how is all of this done out of love???
