The rapier is known for its length, tip maneuverability, and thrusting damage. The katana is known for its cutting power, speed, and quick-draw capabilities. What would happen if we pitted these two swords against one another? Would the tip-control and length of the rapier win? Or would the broader, thicker blade and hard edge of the katana triumph?
