During the virtual book release that was moderated by Beverly Aarons, I shared a bit about my new, self-published book titled "100 Days of Gentle Accountability".

It is a guided, reflective, journal that gives six of the same writing prompts each day that encourages you to take, just a few minutes to center yourself each day.

As a Black woman who grew up not seeing hardly any Black women take the time that they deserved and needed to center their needs AND seeing far too many Black women today exist in the same way, I knew that I had to create this resource.

Though the book can be beneficial for anyone, I believe that Black women, BIPOC women, Black youth, BIPOC youth and people from all marginalized groups need a resource that makes it as convenient as possible to center the things that we need each day.

The book asks the owner to think about things like what they are most proud about themselves, how they took care of themselves, what did they learn and more.

The reason I used the term "gentle accountability" in the title is to push back on the narrative that accountability as adults has to be harsh. It doesn't. Another reason why I put that term in the title is because being accountable to ourselves and investing in our needs in an intentional and gentle way is one of the highest forms of self-love.

During the book release, I announced that I have two more journals now available - a Pride edition and an image-free version.
