Welcome back to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com. Today, we’re punching the clock at the Mod Factory Pro, from Mooer. The Mod Factory Pro, from the Twin Series, gives you two individual channels of modulation, with eight different effects on each side. Side A offers up a host of classic modulation, from two types of chorus to Flanger, Phaser, Rotary and more, whole Side B veers off the beaten path with Liquid Phaser, Stutter and Low-Bit. Each side gets three knobs of the exact same controls: Speed, Depth and a third knob that gives you a parameter unique to which mode you’re in. Two footswitches offer dual functions for each, with the bypass switch doubling as an Acceleration mode, which functions as a Leslie-style ramping feature. The second footswitch offers preset access, while holding it down offers up a global tap tempo control. A handy toggle switch in the center of the pedal offers up three routing options, with the standard order switching as well as an innovative parallel mode, which lets you run both effects side-by-side for some truly warped modulation effects. You can set either side to Off, which bypasses the effect and makes for some cool effect mixing when run in parallel. Up to four presets can be saved with a handy pushbutton system, then recalled instantly with the dedicated footswitch. The rear panel gives you a feature-rich enviornment as well, featuring true stereo outputs and an expression jack that can control any one knob hands-free. The Mod Factory Pro also comes in a stout enclosure that’s small enough to fit almost anywhere.
