ABOUT ME & THIS CHANNEL:
My name is Allie K. Campbell and this is my YouTube channel (formally known as Young, Dumb, and Sober), which is dedicated to getting real, having fun, and living sober. I’m based in Jersey City, NJ, and have a passion for encouraging young people and those in the LGBTQ+ community to be curious and hopeful about a life free from drugs and alcohol.

For a long time, I didn’t know how to get and stay sober - especially when I couldn’t find a community of people with whom I really connected. Embracing being queer and sober has been an ongoing part of my journey. If you identify as gay and sober too, or some iteration of that combo, I welcome you with open arms!

In my 3+ years of recovery, I’ve learned that sobriety is far from boring and that the power of connection goes deeper than I ever could have imagined. Through this channel, I hope to connect with as many other sober and sober-curious people as possible. In my heart, I know a strong supportive network is key to both our individual and collective success in sobriety.

My videos include weekly sobriety tips which are a part of my Sobriety Toolbox Series, early sobriety, and much more. My girlfriend and I often do videos about dating in sobriety, dating someone in recovery, and dating someone who's sober. I also hold interviews with people navigating the sober world, non-alcoholic drink reviews, and much more!

I encourage people on all paths and stages of sobriety to follow along - whether you’re sober curious, in serious drug addiction recovery, or are somewhere you haven’t quite defined yet.
