Birth mole means it is concentrated melanin cells. If three is a benign tumor arising from the birth mole that means there is excessive hypertrophy and hyperplasia of these melanin cells in the cutaneous area and they have a tendency to become malignant if not removed. So once the birth mole is removed there will be a scarring in that area. If there are no cells left in the benign tumor surgical excision, then these tumors do not come back again.
