Spring
In the sudden wind and momentary silence,
I give chase.

I try overlaying my heart onto the cloudy sky.
Swaying with the waves of emotion,
As if fleeing from my past self.

From the mundane everyday,
What lies ahead in the still unexplored, filled with curiosity?
Anxiety? Fear? Or perhaps, something joyful?

The suppressed air bursts forth,
Becoming a storm that approaches,
The rain conveying a sense of liberation.
I have finally arrived,
To the true self I've been searching for.

I will continue to shine amidst the storm,
Brightly.
