The triangular shaped New Parliament Building consisting of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha & Central Courtyard and other office areas has been planned by consultant M/s HCP Design Planning Management Pvt Ltd.in a 9.50-acre plot of land immediately contiguous to the existing Parliament House at New Delhi. CPWD has been entrusted with the work of New Parliament Building by MoUHA. The Project was sanctioned for Rs 971 Crore by the Lok Sabha Secretariat on 15.06.2020 with a mandate of the Government of India to complete the Project as a Historic icon in the Capital of the Country and in a highly compressed time schedule of 21 months.
