I am hickory shad fishing using shad darts. I'm fishing the Maryland Hickory Shad run in this video. The 2023 Maryland Hickory Shad run is on fire!! It is off to a great start this year, as the hickory shad are stacked in the creeks, spawning. I am casting into the current and jigging back to shore. The Shad fishing is at its best right now! I was jigging small shad darts and they were biting nonstop!! The herring are starting to run too, they were mixed in with the hickory shad. You can catch them on shad spoons and shad darts. I was catching fish all day long. All fish caught in this video were released. They are illegal to keep. Make sure to hit the subscribe button for more fishing videos!
