In Romans 1:15 Paul wrote that he was eager to preach the gospel to the church in Rome. What does this mean? Did the apostle hope to preach the gospel to those who were already “churched?” To Christians in Rome? Isn’t it the unbelievers outside of the church who need to hear the gospel? Or, maybe our concept of “the good news” is way too narrow? In fact, we should see the whole book of Romans as a preview of the Full Gospel that the apostle hoped to share in person with the Roman Church. This gospel was prophesied and promised beforehand in the Scriptures and is all about Yeshua (verses 1:2-4); it is as big and great as He is, including:

• Personal transformation, Justification/salvation by faith (Romans 3);
• Family/social/national transformation: Abraham as the father of every family, people group and nation through faith (Romans 4);
• Cosmic Transformation: the work and life of the Holy Spirit within us (Romans 8);
• Historical Transformation: The Second Coming—the fullness of the Gentiles, all Israel saved—and the culmination of the gospel in history (Romans 9-11);
• The continuation of the promise to the forefathers that Israel and the nations would be ONE in Him (Romans 15).

WATCH today as Ariel shares a message of hope about the grandeur and true FULLNESS of the gospel.
