Founded in 1981 by Del Close and Charna Halpern. More than 5,000 people have trained and performed at iO and iO West, including: Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Adam McKay, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, David Koechner and many more. In addition to nightly improv and sketch comedy shows, iO West has improv and writing classes AND is home to the Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival. We've been making people laugh since October 2001.
