Today I'm compelled to make some 1980s-style dance music - the kind of beats that make you want to do the robot. We're pop-lockin. It's a 134bpm techno beat from the Arturia Drumbrute Impact and a strange climbing synth from my modular eurorack system. It's inspired by the song "Clear" from Cybotron, which you would recognize as a prominent sample in "Lose Control" by Missy Elliott. I'm a huge fan of this breakbeat style of drum pattern.
