Founded about a thousand years ago in the medieval period, it is the capital of Moravia, one of the 3 historical regions of the Czech Republic. The city has hundreds of sights. No wonder that the third largest historic preservation zone in the country is here. During this tour, you will have a chance to visit the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul on the Petrov hill, the Old Town Hall with the Brno Dragon and Brno Wheel (a reference to the local legends), Church of St. James, Church of St. Tomas, Church St. Michael, the Liberty Square, and many other. To be honest, it seems like every other building in Brno's Old Town is a landmark, a remnant of the long-passed ages.
