Fitting an 18th-century dress BY MYSELF | Making an Italian Gown pt. 1

Welcome to part 1 of a 2 part series where I attempt to sew and fit an Italian gown from the 1780s. This video is the culmination of months of work sewing foundation garments and accessories for this ensemble. This is also my first attempt at sewing this style of dress and I'm nervous because I have to fit a very fitted bodice by myself without any help. Let's see how it goes...
