SINGAPORE - 4K HD MRT Station from Changi Airport to Chinatown

To navigate the MRT is very easy but a heads up its a lot of walking. For a jetlagged soles I was able to get a ticket with the help of very helpful staff around. For some reason, I cannot purchase a ticket from ticketing machine. I was told to purchase EZ link card and money credit. A kind person behind me directed me to the ticket counter.

Keep in mind there's no direct train to downtown:) 2 ways to get to City Center

Option 1 from Changi Airport MRT Station to East West Line (Green Line)towards Tanah Merah MRT Station then transfer to the East West Line towards Tuas Link MRT Station- For me I think this route is best if you stay near Marina get off at Raffles station(my preference). Closer to main attractions of the city. I found affordable budget hotels in the area as well from $75/night.

Option 2 from Changi Airport MRT Station to East West Line (Green Line) off at Expo MRT Station then transfer to the Downtown Line ( Blue line)towards Bukit Panjang MRT Station . I stayed in a capsule hotel in china town called Chic . I would say this the place for food enthusiasts, backpackers hub , more affordable accommodations and food in the area.
