Web3 & The Cinema Industry: The Mediapro Studio & Miguel Faus

Director, screenwriter and producer from Barcelona. His debut feature film, "Calladita", is the first European movie ever to be entirely funded by NFTs, after a pioneering NFT crowdfund led by Faus himself.


The film was awarded a post-production grant by Steven Soderbergh, and it is based on a short film of the same title that Miguel made in 2020 and which premiered at many international film festivals (including Palm Springs Shortfest and Málaga Film Festival) and was acquired by HBO Max for streaming. His previous short film, "The Death of Don Quixote", received the Melies d’Argent for Best European Short Film at the Sitges Film Festival in 2018. In 2021, Variety magazine named him as one of ten “Spanish filmmakers to watch".
