Our epic journey begins! We arrived in Funchal after a heart-pounding landing (second try's the charm 😅) while some friends had to turn back after three failed attempts! 🚀

Picked up our cute manual rental car and checked into our spacious 7th-floor apartment with stunning views of Funchal, the ocean, and the charming streets. 🏢🌊

Exploring downtown Funchal on foot, we discovered the beautiful seaport, complete with cruise boats and a pirate ship! 🏴‍☠️ Ended our day with a delicious seafood dinner. 🦞🍽️
