Solo Camping in the Rain | Ozark Trail Yurt Tent | Lake Anna State Park, VA | Site #39

Spent two nights camping at the beautiful Lake Anna State Park in the Ozark Trail 13x13 Yurt tent. Although no leakage, there was rain that pooled where the center pole is placed in. I believe this had more to do with the type of camping pad which was filled with water pebbles. As the ground became saturated it sunked a bit causing rain to get in between the groundsheet and the tent floor. Rain also hit more of the back of the tent window so there was a small amount of water in that area but no rain leaking down into the tent. I don’t believe I would want to camp in it again unless there is absolute no chance of rain in the forecast which then would make it a perfect tent. 🏕️
