Model Railway based on North East England large scale junction in the 1960's
This film takes a DMU from the branch end terminus, riding in the cab in the drivers position. At the second station the driver has to change ends to drive the train back over the junction to continue its journey. This station is a representation of Battersby Junction on the Middlesbrough to Whitby Esk valley line where the driver also has to change ends. The train then passes through a tunnel to the lower level and ultimately terminates in the North Bay Platform.
