XENOPTYX is a neo analog tryptic mechanical altarpiece utilising immaterials such as time and heat to create ephemeral traces on the three custom built augmented panels. Three XREENS. The traces, thermoglyphs, manifest as an apophenic language, where line and gesture give way to perceived meaning. These evolving glyphs also generate control voltage fed into a modular synth creating a quadraphonic sound scape; working as a graphical music score as well.
