I set up my economy to teach my fifth graders financial responsibility, accountability, and how to be a contributing part of our classroom community. It is, with all honesty, my #1 teaching tool. I could NOT run my classroom without it! I explain why I use it, how I set it up, as well as the way in which I introduce it to my students.
