‘Spin the World’ - The title track’s intro has a potent guitar riff and aggressive drums. This song is a continuation of the raging vibe from the previous track.

‘Spin the World’ clocks in at 140bpm – the fastest song the band has ever recorded. In fact, not that many songs out there can match its speed.

“We love rock music and we’ve performed countless live shows. There are many types of rock,” Auto said. “This song has a little punk vibe in it. I think the lyrics really fit the song.”

“The song is fast. Let’s talk about how fast it is,” Foet added. “Steve taught us that when you make music you have to pick a role to play. So, we played our teenage selves having fun with friends, driving around with loud music on, doing crazy things. This is how ‘Spin the World’ was put together.”

One of the lines - “And we speed our life away” - also implies that rushing can be both fun and dangerous. The song allows Slot Machine to show what kind of rock band they are and what they are capable of - Gak shines on his bass solo. It contains the message that the band is ready to go the distance. And that’s why it became the album’s title track.
