This is a documentary on Dr. Ambedkar's life and works in celebration of Ambedkar jayanti.

I made this documentary for the National History Day competition, but thought I would release it today in his honor. Every step of his life he broke a barrier. He was the first untouchable from his community to get a higher education, and he was the first untouchable to attain a high position in the government. By becoming the father of the Indian constitution he formally abolished untouchability, which quite literally broke the barrier that separated Dalits from caste Hindus. Dr. Ambedkar will forever remain a renowned social reformer and a champion of human rights.
