In Part I of this adventure I canoe/portage into Marchel Lake, stet up basecamp and even manage a little fishing. Marchel Lake is located in East central Saskatchewan and is the location of a fishing outpost for Kississing Lake Lodge. The lake is home to Pike, Walleye and Lake Trout (The Saskatchewan Trifecta); I'll be trying to catch all three. I hope you enjoy.
