The Etee five-finger tracking controllers from London startup TG0 offer an elegant, super lightweight and nimble alternative to the controllers most of us are used to. I try out an early first version of what will be the more finessed Kickstarter Etee offering - and then hand them over to Virtual Reality artist VRRosie to see what she can do with them in Gravity Sketch and Tilt Brush.

The controllers in this review are early prototypes and are fitted with Vive Trackers. As I say in the review, these trackers are soon to be replaced with TG0's own tracker design.

During the course of filming I used my Etee controllers during a week of testing on Surgeon Simulator VR, Crisis VRigade, Gravity Sketch, Tilt Brush and Half Life: Alyx - check the Kickstarter page for more game compatibility info.

As I clearly state in the video, this video is a paid partnership between TG0 & I with the goal of getting the message out about their Kickstarter campaign. As part of the production process I visited their London HQ for a briefing - but all the filming, editorial and video editing was done independently by me with only technical assistance from TG0. Rosie was paid an artist fee by me in order to produce the artwork you see in the video. We both drew our own conclusions about the Etee controllers, these opinions were not vetted by TG0.
