The late 60s early 70s were an exciting and tempestuous time in 20th century America. While the Vietnam War was raging, Americas youth was uniting through protests and celebrating a new sense of freedom and exhilaration. Created during The Joffrey Ballets residence on the campus of The University of California at Berkeley, it became the most famous of a group of ballets by Gerald Arpino known as The Berkeley Ballets. Trinity is a joyfull tribute to youth, their passions and their rituals. For further information on it and other Arpino or Joffrey ballets, contact The Gerald Arpino Foundation.
