Premiered in Imagine Student Spotlight program at the University of Arizona School of Dance.
Choreography by Carissa Campbell

This piece is centered around anger, with an emphasis on female rage. Anger often feels like it takes over people’s minds when they’re experiencing it and it’s really hard to pull someone out of their peak anger. Additionally, as females, we are expected to suppress our anger and distress, often nodding
our heads and smiling when we may be spiraling on the inside. The piece touches on different elements of anger including how it manifests, different outcomes from suppressed anger, consequences of an individual’s actions, betrayal, and ultimately, the concept of insanity...or “going insane.”
