Having no formal training in arts, Cristian Bara, aka CoolKid Tattoo, approaches both painting and tattooing from a highly personal place and style. Whether it is on canvas or skin, Cristian creates pieces that invite you into his universe which could be best described as joyous, easygoing, naive, and playful. Suppose his paintings excite the eye through vibrant colors, contrasts and effervescent compositions. In that case, his tattoos ornate the bodies with simple, fun, and cartoony characters and objects, that maybe challenge the mainstream standards of tattoo beauty and concept. After moving from Romania to Berlin, Cristian continues to expand his artistic practice and propose new and exciting products of his imagination and talent.
