Marc-Andre Fleury returns to Pittsburgh one last time to play his old team the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena before he retires at the end of this season. This game took place on October 29,2024.
Flower is the reason I got into hockey, and he has been my favorite player since I started watching. I remember going to the Stanley Cup parade in Pittsburgh hoping to meet Fleury and get my jersey signed. Thousands of people were at the parade so it seemed very unlikely for me to get my Fleury jersey signed by him. I stood there holding my Fleury jersey and for some reason out of everyone in the crowd, he specifically noticed me. He pointed at me and waved me to come over to the vehicle he was in. He was so kind and signed my jersey! What seemed unlikely became reality, and I will always cherish that memory forever! Thank You, Flower, for the amazing memories!
