Zaituni's music is heavily influenced by Taarab, a popular form of Swahili music in East Africa, and she blends this traditional sound with urban contemporary music to create a unique sound that is all her own. Her music also incorporates traditional African rhythms, further enhancing her sound's authenticity.

Cheche, Swahili for Sparks lend their name to our live music sessions shot on location at Cheche Books and Coffee, an alternative Pan-African literary space in Nairobi, Kenya.
