How to Use HAVER in Brazilian Portuguese | Learn Portuguese and Speak like a Brazilian.

You are here to learn Portuguese, right? Do you know when and how to use 'HÁ' in Portuguese?
And did you know that there are some more colloquial options to it? In today's lesson, you will learn how to use the verb 'haver' in its impersonal form, in the present ('há'), past ('houve'), and imperfect past ('havia') tenses in Brazilian Portuguese. You will also learn that 'haver', in its impersonal form, has two distinct uses. It may be equivalent to:

'there is' and 'there are' - There is a beach near here ('Há uma praia perto daqui')
'for' / 'in' (length of time) - I have been here for five minutes ('Estou aqui há cinco minutos')
'ago' - I got here five minutes ago ('Cheguei aqui há cinco minutos')

More importantly, you will learn the difference vebtween the verbs 'ter' and 'haver' in Brazilian Portuguese
