Kings Town Elementary students created flags and signs to warmly welcome over fifty veterans to their 2nd Annual Veterans Day Parade. The veterans were celebrated with a breakfast, an inaugural patriotic performance by the fourth and fifth-grade chorus, and a parade around the school’s bus loop. Kings Town Elementary valued this opportunity to unite the community in honoring these veterans and educating their students about the importance of recognizing those who have served in the military.
