Over the past 5 years, AAE has developed and manufactured several printing and packaging systems for the famous Sharpie markers.

Our CMS (Continuous Motion System) prints and packs the Sharpie barrels at a speed of 600 parts per minute. Printing can be done in two colours. This includes flame pre-treatment, offset printing and UV curing.

After curing, the Sharpie markers are boxed in our continuous system, limiting human interference in the process. This high-speed system not only allows our customer to respond quickly to fluctuating seasonal demand but, most of all, it improves the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) in the factory where it operates.

This is possible thanks to the long autonomous operating periods our machines facilitate as part of a larger production line. Thereby limiting logistical movements and, in doing so, the impact on our environment.
