Lamy ABC fountain pen review: School Pen for Grownups?

The Lamy ABC fountain pen is a really good wooden and plastic fountain pen.
The Scandinavian style of this wooden fountain pen really has grown on me and it writes very well with this medium ("A") stainless steel nib.

Whilst the Lamy ABC fountain pen is aimed at introducing children into writing with pens, the Lamy ABC is surprisingly comfortable for adult hands too.
The maple wood is warm and comfortable to hold and the build quality of the Lamy ABC fountain pen is really good.

The Lamy ABC fountain pen is available with a left handed nib, too, as well as being sold with either red or blue plastic caps and finials.
This Lamy ABC fountain pen is fitted with the "A" stainless steel nib, which is a medium Lamy nib.

The Lamy ABC is also available as a mechanical pencil.
