Скачать или смотреть A LO FI HIP HOP BEAT Arturia MiniLab MK II USING Logic Pro X

This is a video (longer version) of me playing a lofi hiphop beat that I made using one of the electronic drum kits in Logic Pro X. I'm playing it on my Arturia Minilab MK II keyboard. I really love this piano keyboard. It integrates well with Ableton Live which I had a free trial of for a couple of months. But when our PC died I decided instead of getting upset I would just buy a MacBook Air and so I started using Logic Pro X. They had a free trial as well and when I realized that Logic Pro X was only going to be 200 dollars and the Ableton Live Suite was going to be over 400 dollars it was kind of a no brainer. Logic has done so much to improve with it's latest update. The Live Loops Cells that it uses are really cool. I was already exploring this technology on my iPad by using Garageband on my iPad. I'm not sure who all knows this but Apple took the technology from Garageband on the iPad and used to for Logic Pro X. Even the effects application that Logic Pro X uses is from Garageband on the the iPad. I was able to perform this composition just by using the keyboard on my Minilab MK II. The drum kit in Logic operates much like an MPC controller. Each percussion instrument gets its own track in Logic, and some of the sounds are obviously samples that have effect already applied to them. All you have to do is play. I recorded an entire track just using just this one particular drum kit. The version in this video is a shorter version. I have the full version uploaded to YouTube as well that is over two minutes long. I really love lofi music and lofi hip hop music. I've been listening to a lot of rap lately. One of my favorite rappers is Rod Wave. I also like Post Malone a lot. I also like Wiz Khalifa who raps on the Charlie Puth song See You Again. I did a piano cover of that song that I uploaded to Youtube as well. Check it out if you get a chance. I really like the beats that people are making these days. Many of them use jazzy piano and electric piano which is cool. Being a jazz pianist I feel like that's right up my alley. I'm a huge fan of jazz pianist Bill Evans and McCoy Tyner, and also Keith Jarrett and Bud Powell. I also like Thelonious Monk a lot. I think he was the most original musician ever to trod the globe. Even the way he played was different from traditional piano technique. I think Bill Evans music would sound really good used as a lofi hiphop beat, but there is copywrite to think about. But certainly some of his chord voicings can be used. I've learned a lot about jazz piano just from watching YouTube videos by jazz piano teachers. It has been very informative. Also I've learned some stuff about teaching voice since I am a voice instructor now as well. YouTube has been a great tool for learning many things, including how to get more viewers on YouTube and SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. And how to start a successful YouTube channel.
