So, who is Gweenpool? Well, created by Chris Bachalo, Marvel’s Gwenpool is a character that combines Deadpool and Gwen Stacy, well, sort of. You see, back in June of 2015 Spider-Gwen was all the rage (and why not? Spider-Gwen is awesome). Consequently though, Marvel smelled money and so they published alternate covers for all their titles featuring Gwen Stacy crossed with other Marvel characters, hoping for a hit. One such cover was Bachalo's variant cover for Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars #2 (two secrets, no more, no less).
