Lazzat-e-Taam can be used in: any awadhi Biryani, Nihari & Paya, Haleem, Korma, Qeema/Kofta.
How to use: Add just ½ tsp for 1kg at the end of cooking when the flame is off, stir well, cover for 5 mins to let the aroma infuse.

LAZZAT - E - TAAM (POTLI MASALA/GROUND MIX)
INGREDIENT:
Approximate Spice Conversions (Gram to Pieces/Volume)
Whole Spices:
Cloves (Laung): 5-10 gm Approx. 1.5 - 3 teaspoons (whole) or 50 - 100 pieces
Green Cardamom (Choti Elaichi): 7-10 gm Approx. 1.5 - 2 teaspoons (whole) or 70 - 100 pods
Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi): 5 gm Approx. 3-5 pods
Mace (Javitri): 3-5 gm Approx. 2-3 blades (larger pieces)
Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini): 2-3 gm (small pieces) Approx. 2-3 small pieces (around 1-2 inches each)
Nutmeg (Jaifal): 1 whole (lightly crushed) This is already in "pieces" – 1 whole nutmeg.
Black Peppercorns (Kali Mirch): 5 gm Approx. 1-1.5 teaspoons
Coriander Seeds (Sabut Dhaniya): 5-10 gm Approx. 1-2 tablespoons
Cumin Seeds (Safed Zeera): 5 gm Approx. 1.5 teaspoons
Caraway Seeds (Shahi Zeera): 5 gm Approx. 1.5 teaspoons
Fennel Seeds (Saunf): 5 gm (both large and small if possible) Approx. 1.5-2 teaspoons
Poppy Seeds (Khuskhus) or white sesame seeds: 5 gm Approx. 1.5-2 teaspoons
Bay Leaves (Tejpatta): 1-2 This is already in "pieces" – 1-2 leaves.
Star Anise (Chakra Phool): 2-3 This is already in "pieces" – 2-3 whole stars.
White Peppercorns (Dakhni Mirch): 5 gm Approx. 1-1.5 teaspoons
Cubeb Pepper (Kababchini): 5 gm Approx. 1.5 teaspoons
Long Pepper (Peepli): 5-7 gm Approx. 5-7 pieces (each long pepper is usually 1-2 inches)

Herbs, Roots & Other Aromatics:
Barberry (Baobeer/Sukhe Ber): 5 gm Approx. 1 tablespoon
Dried Lemongrass (Jarakhush): 5 gm Approx. 1-2 tablespoons (fluffy, dried pieces)
Sandalwood Powder (Chandan Powder): 5 gm Approx. 1-1.5 teaspoons
Dried Rose Petals (Sukhe Gulab ki Patti): 3-5 gm Approx. 2-3 tablespoons (fluffy, dried petals)
Fox Nuts (Makhana): 5 gm (unflavored) Approx. 15-20 pieces
Galangal (Paan ki Jad): 1-inch piece (lightly crushed) This is already in "pieces" – 1 piece.
Vetiver Roots (Khus ki Jad): 5 gm Approx. 1-2 tablespoons (fibrous pieces)
Dried Coconut Chips/Powder: 5-10 gm Approx. 1-2 tablespoons (chips) or 2-4 teaspoons (powder)
Stone Flower (Patthar ke Phool / Dagad Phool): Small quantity Approx. 1 tablespoon (light, fluffy pieces)
Can add dry fennel leaves also - 5 gm Approx. 1-1.5 teaspoons (I didn't have it)

Liquids (added at the end):
Kewra Water/Essence (Screwpine essence): 1-2 tsp
Meetha Ittar (Edible Perfume/Sweet Attar): 1-2 drops (use sparingly, this is very potent)
